Yeah FF14 really is better because yet again a game director who focused on systems over content is forced to devote an entire companies resources and months to fixing systems he said had no problem and players were just overreacting too.

You better believe I am DELIGHTED FF14 devs look at that stuff with confusion on why you would try to reinvent something that just works. I never see FF14 making just arbitrary decisions with time gating on core content in FF14, I do not have to worry in Endwalker all of sudden having new borrowed powers or some utter insanity change when it comes to gear acquisition.

I never have to worry in FF14 that my professions are useful and now in the next expansion they are completely pointless. I CAN INVEST TIME knowing that my work will have a long term benefit. Wow what a concept I invest my time into a character and they do not pull the rug out from under me because the game director forgot to take his bipolar meds.

There is no dev post that FF14 devs make where as a long term WoW player the thought goes through my head of how Blizzard would have responded to a similar situation with some lawyered up answer and making fun of the people posting serious issues with a system.
