Not wrong. Should have some new power rangers standing around limsa or something though.

Not sure if someone already mentioned this but the suits remove tails. It's kinda funny, in 6.1 Hroths sacrificed their ears for hairstyles, now they sacrifice their tails for a hat with ears lol

Nothing new. People said it was fine, when I complained about it in my tail thread. Not surprised if they keep doing it, less work for them after all.

Yeah, this feels more like a Halloween outfit, not really something that fits summer too well. I'm probably never going to use it anyways, especially with everything outside of the head being one piece instead of separate pieces. This is just one of those things where you need to be cosplaying a power ranger to make this work, you can't really use anything from here in anything else.

What it even means? FFXIV is a worldwide product at this point, aimed to most countries.

It means a company is putting iconography/culture points that are specific to the country its workers live in, which everyone on the dev team would be familiar with. Obviously, the Japanese dev team is going to put in a lot of references to things that are popular to Japanese people. Because, again, these are things they are intimately familiar with.

It's not rocket science.

Should I also explain why the devs devoted time to include Mahjong instead of card games? Or why Lord of Verminion exists in the FFXIV? Or why we have a Gundam?

Or why a collab with GARO? Are people even aware of GARO outside of Japan?

There is also the hatching tide event which is clearly aimed at western easter celebrations yet you never see anyone here complaining that it's too localized. A lot of evens in XIV reflect real world celebrations this one just doesn't cater to a western audience the same way others do.
