Last (5.45) upgrade to Skysung MH Tools, worth the effort?

Looking for opinions here. Anyone who has finished one complete Skysung ILVL 510 (ala patch 5.45) crafting mainhand - is the effort to create them justified by the final result? Put another way, if you did one such upgrade, would you finish out the process across the remaining 7 crafting classes? The final stats on the 510s appear to be only a tiny bit better than a full boat melded Aesthete counterpart - enough to justify the effort?

As someone who has finished them, I can recommend them strongly if nothing more than for being one of the few glamour options we're able to get; they're actually quite nice.

From the perspective of functionality, it's a little more fiddly, whether the upgrades will be worthwhile for you entirely depend on what stats you're currently yielding with your gear. One way to look at this is if you're not doing Experts then you need to question whether that potential control loss is worth it, is it the difference between using HQ materials? As in do you need to go from 2 > 3, or 3 > 4 to compensate for the loss, if you don't then the loss of control is irrelevant.

The craftsmanship is the more interesting stat and having done some playing around with their stats, you'll find that 2735, 2742, and 2797 are all useful breakpoints in rotations. Allowing 20 steps down from 26(?), 25 steps without tea/syrup, from 26 with syrup, and then 19 steps respectively without any significant quality loss. With the latter not really being feasible for most people, and the former 2 being great.

I've gone from 2698/2837/554 to 2746/2820/554, so it has pretty much allowed me to be more efficient with crafting master recipes. With that in mind, to answer the question you didn't ask; would I do it again given the need? Easily.

Whether it is worth it or not for you depends entirely on how frequently your craft, and what stats you're currently dealing with. Does your stats allow you to reach one of the Craftsmanship breakpoints without requiring additional HQ materials? That's the question you ought to ask, I think!

Great info; much appreciated. Aside from overall function, I was also looking for a reason to pull the upgrade trigger from the standpoint of enthusiasm, and I believe I see it here. If just one Master level colleague says "would I do it again given the need? Easily," that is the sort of recommendation I had in mind. My setup, 'hex penta omni' or better, 'six lali over Texas,' or 'the six shootah..' will take a total of 48 such MH upgrades... looks like I'll be busy!

    Thanks for the assist!
