Ohai! ^^; I played FFXI on Fairy since a few months after NA release, Remora for a while, and then on Sylph after the merge, up until about a year ago.
If any social LS on Selbina are recruiting, hit me up. ^^ Days without talking to another character gets lonely fast. >.>
Brekka from Carbuncle (nee Gilgamesh) here. None of my linkshells made it over to XIV in any numbers, so I'm also looking for a social/partying shell. Unfortunately I'm only in game a couple times a week, so am a far cry from the endgame but I am hoping to finish up the story before the new Umbral Age comes.

Not sure what you're looking for in an LS, but if you want an LS that's always got something going on (be it a "Hey, who wants to duo with my level 30 archer?" that turns into a all-night party, or a random "Guys, I'm bored. Let's kill Ifrit."--or just an awkward conversation!), you can /tell Asher Stark in-game for a pearl to The Family. ^^
In fact, that goes for anyone who's in need of a fun linkshell that's not all level 50.![]()

I agree with you, it does get old and boring after a few days.
modz from ffxi Bismarck server, like most of you I started ffxiv during beta and then stopped for w/e reasons. I am back now and hitting the ground running. I did start back off in lstory server for some stupid reason and omg that server was so dead it was literally like playing a single player open world rpg. It got lonely, old and miserable to say the least. So I just decided to reroll onto Selbina and the first few days I actually seen a bunch of people but hardly no chit chat or people looking for help or events like bismarck used to be. So I thought damn this server has people but very anti social. A few people set my straight today here on the forums.
With that being said I hope I get into a good social LS soon. If anyone wants to feel free to send Modz Mcgee a friend request or even a LS invite.

Hello. My name is Elune, and I am a Selbinian.
Unicorn-vet. It made me tough. That place ain't for the weak-hearted.
Scandinavians, or people wishing to join a community of Scandinavian languages in FF XIV, please check my blog on Lodestone and submit a comment to make your interest known.

Yo! I'm super to new FFXIV, but I used to play FFXI on the Carbuncle server. Those were awesome times. <3
Now I'm a Selbinian. Would have been a Trabian because FFVIII is amazing, but there wasn't anyone there D:
So far, I'm really liking the game! I'm a little overwhelmed with all the learning I have to do, but it's been fun. The trickiest part has been figuring out what's going to happen over the next few months while FFXIV undergoes some major changes. Like the server merge, for example. And the graphics engine overhaul... and... um... everything ;-;

I chose Selbina because it was from FFXI.![]()
Hallo Thurr 8)
6 year FFXI vet from Lakshmi, started playing FFXIV at launch (originally didn't start on Selbina because it was full during that time) stopped playing for awhile, decided to come back last summer and started over on this server. I'm happy that Yoshi-san and his development team decided to rename Selbina into Ridill because it would still remind me of my early days on FFXI.

Were are the parties?
