    A request for your constructive suggestions on Bozja 5.45

    There has been quite a lot of negativity in regard to current Bozja.
    In an effort to turn this around into something positive, what would your constructive improvement ideas be?

    It may work better if your improvement ideas follow the numbered format below. Of course some ideas may take a little longer than a single line to explain, it's just that concise answers provide clarity and are easily read

    1)Bozja wish you could actually queue from outside for the 48m its really messy the current way
    2)Just bump up slightly the mettle gains from fates to not make the grind a slog, the whole purpose of bozja is to farm clusters and consumables for raids why put a high commitment on fates?
    3)A concise tutorial about the consumables and remind people to use it during content.

    Honestly, Bozja is already fantastic content. The raids are arguably the best to ever grace FFXIV.

    The problem is the reward structure. There simply needs to be more. Make memory drops 100% for the relevant content - increase the amount needed if required, but remove the RNG. Add more fluff rewards, particularly from content people are averse to participating in. Remove mettle losses in raid content, or remove losses entirely - punitive systems never contribute to fun.

    Personally, I enjoy the content. I have the time to enjoy the content. But bringing in friends to enjoy the content with me has been a hurdle because of the above.

    Suggestions for Bozja

    I actually like a lot of things about Bozja, but think there are just some flaws that need to be addressed. Also, great idea for a thread! I think it's important we give feedback as to what we're hoping for.
    1) I did a whole post wondering why we're doing Crystal Tower for the "Change of Arms" quest when we already do Crystal Tower every day with alliance roulette. I think one of the biggest problems is the low drop rate of memories, upgrade items, etc in Bozja. We need to make castrum appeal to people who have already done it. So, for example you could make each boss in castrum drop a loathsome memory, up the loathsome memory drop rate from CE's and do away with the Crystal Tower part (or make it a low chance). I'm not saying I don't content outside of bozja to not drop things you need for the relic; I'm happy with doing the HW/Stormblood raids for the next step b/c those aren't done as much. We need to keep old content relevant for new players joining FFXIV. But wow, Castrum has become a bottleneck for new players; you have to make it appeal to players that have already done it.

    2) When you reach max rank in a Bozja zone [for example the current zone, max rank is 15], increase the coins you get from CE's and skirmishes--even if it's just one.

    3) The upgrade items (e.g. Bozjan Secrets (Headgear), etc.) are a bit extreme at 999 and 500. Drop them just a little. 800 and 400 would be more reasonable. They should be hard to get/a grind but not demoralizing (though if at max rank, coins from CE and skirmishes were increased maybe 999 and 500 wouldn't be the worst).

    Just wanted to point out that it would take both a substantial decrease in coin cost and coin gain to make the Augments worth grinding. The reduction you suggested would still sum up to a 100+ hour grind for a single set. Which, wasn't a huge issue before, as the only purpose was the +haste. But now they've made it a requirement to get the dyable Law set, so it's discouragingly painful to say the least- and directly makes multiple runs of Savage Delub less worth doing.

    Yeah, I have no clue really what a good number would be, but also...exactly! Even as you say if they lowered the numbers just a little bit it's an INSANE amount of grinding time. I really hope this gets addressed.

    The 490 upgrade path should have been nerfed when they introduced the 510 upgrade path and are using the augmented 490 gear as a requirement. The fact that it hasn’t been yet is ridiculous.

    1. Just let me queue for castrum or take off the requirement to complete it to continue on with my relic. Came back after not enjoying WoW again just to be walled off from my relic since no one really wants to do castrum anymore.

    And... that's really it from me. I don't mind the grind, leveling, mettle, etc,. but the castrum wall is just too much. It's not fun to wait an hour for it to pop and then only 20ish people want to go do it, all newbies and we really only get 1 or 2 shots at completing it.
