    Boy, I'm glad I did a quick search before creating my own thread since there are many threads about this issue. I decided to bump this one since the OP had the most votes among the other threads :P It'd be really neat to have this feature added. Like many people mentioned in the different threads, some outfits work with a specific hairstyle and sometimes we want specific/different hairstyles for specific/different job plates. I don't know how difficult this is to implement, but it would certainly be an awesome QoL feature to have ^^

    I'd like to see this too. I think what it would require essentially, in part, would be a re-working of the glamour plate system. Wouldn't be rocket science for them to do, TBH.

    Personally I don't think I'd ever use it. :P I like my current hair too much, I've tried checking out other options but always end up coming back to the old ponytail. We'll need more good hairstyles to be added in before I have a reason to use a feature like that.

    If they wanted you to pay for it, I'm kinda wondering if there'd be a way for them to do so upon swapping gearsets. The way I see it, if the game detects that you're switching to a hairstyle that's different from your current one, it could prompt you to "pay X amount of gil." That said, I don't know jack about programming or how feasible that'd be but I'm just throwing the idea out there.

    To be honest, I don't see how this has anything to do with the Aesthetician. If you pay money the first time you link the hairstyle to the glamour, that should be enough since that's how changing hairstyles works in the game. Charging a fee each and every time we switch jobs would be insane. Sometimes I change to the wrong job by mistake. Am I supposed to pay money in this case too? Instead, they can charge you each time you change the hairstyle of the plate and that would be fair.

    When I first read the title, my first thought reminded me of some unique head pieces from other MMO that changes avatar’s hairstyle that isn’t found from the character creator engine (which in FFXIV, the equivalent of this would be the hairstyles we see in aesthetician).

    Other than that... well why not? IF they can provide us, that is. Either way I don’t think I’m swapping to any other hairstyles than my current ones—I love it (translation: simp) way too much lol. If anything that I’d wish from them, is more mid to longer hairstyles! And mind the clipping (super important)!! ;_;
