I have been writing to you for mentor roulette for a long time even since this roulette existed you put all the extremes of 2.0 ... and then nothing else extreme ... it would be more pleasant for players like me who has about 2 hours of games a day not to get this kind of content when half of the peoples don't know the mechanics ..... the player says casual like me don't have much time to waste with this content !!!! so I just hoping for 6.0 this will be "fixed" !!!!

Mentor roulette is designed with that purpose in mind. One day you might get a simple guildhest, another day you might get a dungeon and a different day you could get an extreme trial. I like the setup, personally. I talked a group of sprouts through Odin just the other day. It took a couple of wipes but they succeeded and it was satisfying to watch them learn and grow as players.

Are you upset because you need to do Heavensward and Stormblood EX primals to unlock the roulette in the first place? (I still haven't done Stormblood's, despite getting over 80% of the way towards the mount before 5.0 dropped).

Or are you upset because having an EX - *any* EX - pop in the roulette is pretty much a guaranteed failure, and a frustrating experience for all 8 of the players, mentors or not?

The point of you being a mentor is to help other players. The point of mentor roulette is to help other players.

Their mistake here was incentivising it at all. They take away the crown and the extra rewards and I imagine people like you disappear, which no offence, would greatly improve the reputation and quality of mentors.

Yep. The whole system is bunk, they might as well remove it at this point. It would make the game a much better environment. The crown should definitely be altered into a watering can or whatever, something boring. at the very least.

The whole system is optional, plenty of people enjoy it, I’d take that watering can over a crown any day. But I don’t do mentor roulette for the icon next to my name so /shrug.
