Does anyone play FFXIV on PC using a 4K TV?

I have a POS Hisense that I bought on clearance and it looks and works fine. For XIV it isn't really an issue in the slightest and looks great.

I was considering a hisense TV I saw in the store, but I wanted to see if 4K TVs were up to snuff enough for FFXIV before I threw down cash on anything. Amazingly, the price of a 4K TV these days is dirt cheap! Wish the monitor counterparts were in this price range. After more research into various models and insights from other xiv players it seems like going this route might be the best option overall for the money.
