Anyways, and as far as FF14 is concerned, Egis are an integral part of SMN's identity.
Just like cards are for AST or faeries for SCH.
So those aren't going anywhere.

If anything, it's far more likely that we'll get more Trances/Demi-Summons in the future.
If they want to keep egi's relevant we going to need more interaction with them.
