Thread: Can't log in

    Can't log in

    Was logged in earlier in the day. Logged out, went to log back in and got hit with ID/Password incorrect. I can log into Mogstation and Lodestone which use the same login. I have tried resetting the password multiple times, even disabling and enabling one time password, and I still can't log into the game. What do?

    I am having the same issue. For the past two days I haven't been able to log in using the launcher. I can log into Mogstation and my Square Enix account just fine using the same credentials, but the launcher keeps stating that the ID or password is incorrect. I came to the forums to report and saw your thread with the exact same issue.

    Update - Well it was working for a bit and was able to get in. Tried it again to just see if it was permanently fixed. Nope. Still happening.

    Found that if I have ExitLag open, tested multiple times, it doesn't work. Do you happen to use a program like that at all Frodus?

    i had no idea that it was exitlag, been having this issue too. however, you should be able to log into the client normally with it off, and once the game is launched, tab out and turn exitlag on. just don’t try to connect to the data center while trying, or it’ll kick you out of the game entirely. should be fine to do it in the character select screen.
