Can log into Mogstation and Lodestone but not FFXIV

Was logged in earlier in the day. Logged out, went to log back in and got hit with ID/Password incorrect. I can log into Mogstation and Lodestone which use the same login. I have tried resetting the password multiple times, even disabling and enabling one time password, and I still can't log into the game. What do?

One thing that could potentially happen, is there could be an extra space at the start/end of the username/password(had it happen to me at work a few years ago and I didn't notice it until after I got locked out). Another is possibly typing too fast and hitting the wrong key. Maybe even accidentally toggling caps lock.

Those are the things I can think of that might be preventing you from logging in, though it could be something on SE side, and you might need to open a support ticket.

I was having trouble logging in for a few days a couple years back. Like, resetting my password every time I wanted to log in sort of trouble. Turns out it was operator error. My caps lock was on. lol If you can rule everything else out OP, the solution might be something simple.

i'm having this same exact problem, actually. reset password, re-synced token, but its still saying my password is incorrect.

Was JUST Fishing before i was DC'd, tried re-logging and "Due to several Log in attempts you must wait several (Half an hour NOT FUCKING SEVBERAL) minutes before signing in"

I can log into MogStation AND Lodestone no fucking problem, yet i cannot re log a game i was JUST signed into moments ago...

EDIT: I've been playing on the same PS4 account and using the same Google account to access these services SINCE VANILLA...No password changes, No security breaches, I've never had an issue until now.

Well , add this to the complaints from players worldwide about a massive amount of lag and basic game functionality going to hell, ie retainers don't load , or getting hit by aoes that were dodged 5 seconds earlier .. today has been a wild ride

Might be a problem with your One Time Password.

To login, sometimes I have to wait until the one time password I'm about to use is refreshed and replaced and only then will the OLD OTP work not the current one
