Papa was a rolling stone...wherever he laid his barbut was home.
Back in my day, you zoned the server. lol@empty zones outside Limsa in alpha 'cause the zone server crashed repeatedly.
More (as i craft):
-Tanaka ruled this game.
-ARC was god and MRD the oldloldrk of FFXI.
-You found a cave and go in to explore.
-The first time you take the ship to Limsa was an enjoying experience.
-Clases meant nothing and you only wanted to fill up the party and go get skill.
-The first time you saw that yellow bar which meaning you didn't know, become red.
-Crabs had a second attack (water gunnnnnnnnnnnnnn).
-Skeleton were the worst thing you could face on a leve.
-Gridania and Limsa was full of people.
-Sometimes Aetheryte crystal and enemys won't load after maintenances.
-Seasonal events were only touch a bell.

In my day, it was close to impossible for CNJ to gain any SP when in a party. Soooo frustrating.
In my day doing a day's leves took anywhere from six to eight hours.
I remember when we couldn't remove AWALL linkshell members when they were offline or too far away.
I remember deliberately failing certain leves to ensure better exps every other day...
GLD is not GLA! But apparently, it IS GSM!
Back in my day.... Oh wait we still get discount...![]()
