back in my day, you got xp for every hit you made on the enemy.
back in my day, you got xp for every hit you made on the enemy.
Back in my day, there was no such thing as Dated gear.
Anyone remembers the total mess for stats reallocation? (and elemental points)
Back in my day the forums were the best part of the game.
Back in my day, my classes had ranks, not levels, and I had nearly as much HP and MP at rank 1 compared to 50
I could also solo pretty much any mob in a 15 level range and only god knows what the stars meant for leve difficulty; every different leve mob had different level for a given number of stars.
Well, that's a guess, cause back in my day you could not see the mob's level, you just had a color icon beside the mob name
Back in my day we didn't have any fancy-smansy tanks.
We had two sticks, two sticks and a rock for the whole platoon.
And we had to SHARE the rock.
Oh I know what the ladies like.
Back in my day, the classic Final Fantasy Victory Theme played every time someone leveled.
Got more:
Back in the day, mages can cast spell while running.
And now, we died more often from Iffy's eruptions & plums. Apparently mages rule too much if they can run all the time.
Back in the day, I could hoard anything I could get in my inventory.
And now, I can't do that anymore and it sucks real bad if rare drops thrown away because my inventory are full.
But of course...
Back in the day, I was lonely in this strange new world.
And now, I got friends all over the place and ready to meet some new ones.
and of course...
Back in the day, I still can sleep properly.
And now... I can't wait to see new excitements and had to sacrifice some sleep time. lol
Back in the day, NPC'ing 25 items only took 45 minutes.
Back in my day we complained abou the game not being up to our standards and when we got patch after patch after patch of new content that we asked for we still complained about the game not being up to our standards...
and THAT is how we got our legacy chocobos and our names in the credits of the game TYVM!
