When WoW first became an MMO, it had very little to do endgame. When FF11 was a brand new MMO, it had very little to do. When LOTRO was a brand new MMO, gear that is considered trash now, was the best gear in the game. FF14 is a new MMO, stop expecting it to be a finalized and fully polished!

TERA is a next gen just like FFXIV and is extremely polished with content.
