    the ideal which no game holds basicaly, yeah, got ya

    people keep talking about this ideal like it exists, yet it always comes back to the same fact

    the ideal doesnt exist cuz there are only so many things you can do in a game, we want it to be more, but the fact is it cant be that way.

    some of the older MMOs were different, back when the quest wasnt about the reward but about the story as a whole, and as much as players demand it, they will be pissed off if it ever goes back to it, because at the same time, its not what they want

    Yeah, that's why GW2 and Archeage are most hyped on MMORPG.com, because they are the typical MMO everyone apparently wants... oh wait, no they're not. They're atypical.

    Edit: And yes I know it's an impossible pipe-dream (what I was saying earlier), but at the same time, isn't it something games should strive toward, instead of making pure grinding the backbone of their game?
