Suddenly unable to glam a particle item (Antiquated Pacifist's Armguards)

Steps:
1. Edit Glamour Plate number 1 hand item to any item available for Pugilist/Monk.
2. Save and Apply.
3. Item appearance doesn't change to the glam specified.
4. Open Character menu and move to Antiquated Pacifist's Armguards.
5. Cast Glamour, pick any item, apply.
6. Item appearance doesn't change.
7. Attempt to glam any other item. Any other items will change appearance to the proper item.
8. Unequip Antiquated Pacifist's Armguards from hand gear in monk gear set. Item still shows despite having been unequipped.
