booted from game then in different server

hello,
just wondering and i know this will sound strange but i'm on Cerberus as my home world and was sitting on the beach in the mist to when i was forcefully booted from the game and everything crashed. when i tried to log into my toon again i was greeted with a message saying i was on a different world server (louisoix) and when i had tried to log into him i was booted again to the main home screen of ShadowBringers. i was sitting in the mist ward but now my toon is standing in new Gridania on louisoix.

so i dont know if it was a bug in the game that made this happen or my acc got hacked but i have taken every precaution so the account is now okay but can a mod help me understand what has happened as this has baffled be and i wouldnt like to lose all the stuff my toon has now

This. Especially if it was a website ending in ".com-x-cd/" - as an example, the letters after the .com are dead giveaway that it is a FAKE site. The other giveaway is that the username, password, and one time password are all on the same page. Anything with that is a phishing site that gives your login information to a third party who takes your gil(at the very least). NEVER click on a link in game, always go to the websites directly(I recommend going to the official lodestone, and bookmarking that, as well as keeping the forums bookmarked - then if something tells you to go to the forums and comment on a post, open your bookmark first, double check you are logged in, then ignore the tell that told you to go comment, 100% are fake and scams)

yes it was .com-j.eu i didnt realise till there now as it showed the ffxiv threads ive reset everything and made sure i got everything sorted it thank you for letting me know i was really worried
