You see, a friend sent me money on Amazon via a gift card, but since only subscription cards are available on there for FF14 (as well as the game addons, but that is not in my budget), I can't get myself stuff from the Online Store. I really wish there was pre paid cards you could buy, instead of having to use a Paypal (which I don't have) or Credit Card (which I don't have).

That is not what I am talking about. You CAN buy a 60 day game time card. What you CANNOT do is buy a pre paid card for money to use for the online shop. And while there is an option called "Amazon Pay", you CANNOT use your gift card balance, you MUST add a payment method like a credit card....which defeats the purpose.

I think grimgamer misunderstood what you were asking for (hence the comment about game time cards), but they're right that you can pick up prepaid credit cards. They function like a Visa or Mastercard, but are actually basically a reloadable gift card that just works anywhere that credit cards are accepted. So you can pick up a prepaid Visa, load $50 on it, et voila, you can use that card anywhere that takes Visa (such as the online shop) until the $50 is spent. Put $50 or $25 more or whatever on the card again whenever you want to spend more at a place that requires credit cards.

(You can also get one-off Visa or Mastercard gift cards, that are one-and-done and not reloadable, but that always seems wasteful to me.)

Square Enix isn't a bank. Minting pre-paid cards cost time, money and effort. What's wrong with using a bank for your banking needs?

I mean they could do "digital" cards, no? I dont think I've ever got a physical card when I bought a time card from amazon just a code to use.

Like a code that basically adds some crysta to your account or something like that.

This is pretty much what I am talking about. So i could get an Amazon Gift Card, redeem it, and then buy a Crysta Digital card with the money in my Amazon balance.
