e.g.,
/isearch totem
/isearch weathered
/isearch antiq

Results will appear in the chat box so you can right click and Search for Item. If there are no results, you don't have any anywhere. Give it a couple seconds between uses. It has a slight cooldown.

And what MMOs out there give us more total inventory than FFXIV does?

Haven't played WoW since Legion but back then we maxed out at 476 inventory slots (that's including the reagent bank tab) assuming we were using all 30 slot bags.

Here we've got 560 general use slots plus an additional 820 restricted slots for gear.

We are absolutely the problem because we want to keep hoarding things we aren't using. Players need to learn to manage inventory better.

There are several differences in WoW.

-Alts are free and you can mail between them. That technically grants you thousands of free bag slots, especially with an alt guild bank.
-As far as I know bags are 32 slot now with one unique 34 slot.
-The glamour tab is unlimited.
-There is a further 160 Void Storage slots.
-There aren't things like primal totems and raid books. Gear or mounts simply drop or you use currency in the currency tab.
-Fishing is different and doesn't require a range of bait on hand for multiple big fish windows.
-Crafting is significantly different. Older recipes and materials are largely worthless at max level while many lower level crafts can be relevant here. Many old ores, ingots, cloths, ect are used in higher level crafts or may find use in the next expansion. Endwalker will almost certainly add several hundred more materials.
-Extra bag slots exist in FF14, so it's not a server strain issue. They're just stuck behind a paywall.

Please do proper research before blindly accusing players of bad management.

Personally I don't hold glamour in my bags, I do not keep old totems or raid books. I do not keep ANY material in HQ. I do not keep any materials that can be bought from a vendor, only see use in a few crafts, or are particularly cheap on the MB. I do not keep fish bait. If raw materials are only used in one cloth/ingot/ect, I only keep that cloth/ingot/ect.
I do like to keep a stock of useful materials, so I can craft anything useful at any point for friends, my house, people I see who need help, going for Blessed tools. This has been very convenient on many occasions. I still need to go and gather things all the time though.
I had to give up during ShB and purchase a third retainer. I'm managing fine now, but 2 was impacting my game experience. Poor management is nonsense, this is not WoW. We're due a third free retainer.

I dont care what the usual ppl say - this is a game not real life, i want to store everything and gather etc, thats part of my endgame and whats fun to me. I dont wanna have to run to the mb or go and gather stuff, i dont wanna throw away gear i wanna keep for glamour and for sure im gonna keep the eureka trash for when the day comes and im finishing some other weapons. If wed just have something for dyes and materia id be golden already...


The main fault still stays at SE for adding uneeded trash all the time for no reason at all, like, every tier we get the whole mess anew >_>

I'm one to call out trolling when I see it, but this definitely isn't a troll post. Inventory management is a thing, sure, but between multiple crafting classes, gathering classes, and such, it's VERY easy to run out of space.

Why would I want to leave the game, which is in full screen for a third party app when it’s called fc chat in game for a reason? I don’t join the fcs discord and I leave an fc who forces me too. Don’t ruin my immersion for your silly third party app

1. Use your damn retainers. That is not playing wrong. Its called spending money to get more retainers, if and only if you need them.
2. Stop hording everything, this isnt some stupid elder scrolls game.
3. Learn how to do proper inventory management, in other words only carry what you need and off load the rest to the market or the retainer for later use.

Hoarding is keeping stuff for the sake of keeping it, not when you have a use for it. I hold onto a lot of raid tokens because I want a lot of that gear for glamour, which I don't have room for. If they made all of those tokens proper currencies that would free up a lot of space. If it was all available for poetics that would also help. However implementing a collection based glamour system would solve a lot of inventory problems. So would crafting inventory. This trading around the belt inventory shows that they have a real problem and they need take time to address it.
