i think a good player will always be able to anticipate when rescue is about to be cast on them

If you're grouped with a good healer and they're using it appropriately... sure.

But then again, that's the issue and main point I brought up. There are plenty of healers who don't use it appropriately or are new to the game and content and don't know what they're doing.

Feels like you kind of missed the main point of my post here, so I'll just let it go at that.
