Chat Text Bubbles over Player Characters?

what about people that use macro? especially raid macro (if you're an NA players, u wont get this)

+1 for the chat bubbles, we need this so much.

With option on it this can be easy to configure and not being overwhelmed here's a few option we can use :

-Select which Channel you want to be shown like Party, Raid, Whisper, etc etc...
-Select if Bubbles appear on everyone, Friends, or just don't appear at all.
-Select the size of the bubble and the text.

Absolutely agree. Chat bubbles make it so much easier to follow conversation in populated areas since you can just look in the direction of who you're speaking to. I also find them very immersive as it further blends player characters and NPCs together when you play with names off.

FF14 is the only MMO I have encountered that's newer than other MMOs but has worse performance than MMOs that are several years older...

It is stuff like this why a lot of people say the game looks old or dated, the UI and it's functions feel archaic, too many menus to click through, always asking for "are you sure you want to do x"

some good examples are Retainers and Gardening, SE has a LOT of work to do to make all this beter and more convenient to use, i personaly don't care about their graphic update, they should invest more work into quality of life features.

I was not sure if it was better for me to start a new thread requesting this feature or to simply add a comment here. I have decided that for now I will just add my comment here.

I never saw any problems with any of the chat bubbles in any other game that had them, so it was surprising to see that some people around here thought it was gonna be problematic in one way or another. But even so, none of it would be a real problem because Chat Bubbles would obviously be toggleable from the settings. Therefore, there is only net positive in adding chat bubbles in the game.

Developers, please consider adding this option for Dawntrail, or any of the future patches. Thank you!

You actually know that, just for this screenshot you may be banned because mod is against the ToS right ? And we can clearly see it's your character on the screen despite your Profile picture.

Anyway, Don't post screenshot with mods, that's for your own sake
