2. Used crystal to check for open slots in mists
3. Teleported to ward 15
4. Walked to plot 12
5. Noticed gil was gone
6. Panicked
7. Researched how it could happen
8. Noticed fish I didn't remember
9. Checked market history

You missed out step 0 maybe ?

0) Went to plot 9 in goblet which was vacant, but on a new-buyer timer. Set up an auto-clicker and went to sleep. Got back and noticed the plot was sold and a house was there, so stopped my auto-clicker.

With no crafts/gathers and highest battle being 58, I wonder how they got this gil. Heavensward doesn't give nearly that much.
