Requiring 24 person content for relic is a bad design decision

First and foremost, it doesn't help anyone actually needing the content for their MSQ. Why? People are simply using 22 person BLU groups to slaughter it. Speed wise, this is takes just as long ( a bit less actually) than a 4 man dungeon.

Second and probably the biggest reason is once the hype train dies down, it will be extremely hard to go back and complete this content later. Even more so once the next expansion drops. You (the developers) need to better future proof this content which you have largely failed to do with Eureka and Bozja.

Thankfully you don't get to make the determination on design quality. Thanks for your opinion though.

I don't see it as bad design but rather just a means of attempting to address the issue of newer players having nasty queue timers, so you just further incentivize people at end-game to get involved with the content. Doing this on my alt a couple of weeks ago for unlocks took incredible queue times, now it's nigh on an instant or within 5 minutes. That being said the main criticism I have is rather than bolster it all into specifics like 24-man but have it so that doing a roulette guarantees you get the memories, that way you will naturally complete it whilst finishing any roulette rather than either Alliance or nothing.

I came back after a long break and now I need to do castrum but lo and behold no one wants to do it anymore. It's current expansion content, required for one of the most lucrative things about an expansion, and.. it's dead.

I see you're on Primal (since you're in Famfrit). I know there's actually a lot of people who have tried to put together Castrum runs in our data center, including via the Eureka content Discords. I've actually also seen a lot of ad-hoc stuff; my FC's done a number of Castrum runs to get our sprouts through it, and in some cases gone and pitched in with another FC trying to get their folks through it.

So if you have a populated-enough FC (or alliance of FCs), or a mount farm group, or whatever, it might be worth asking around. But if you're this stymied I'm guessing it isn't, so you might have luck hopping onto Primal Forays or Eurekan Explorers Discord servers.

(Eurekan Explorers is across all datacenters, but has datacenter-specific organization; Primal Forays is smaller and focused just on our datacenter. I've seen Primal folks have better luck getting CLL cleared with Primal Forays, since the userbase there is concentrated on just our datacenter, so it's often quicker to put together a group there.)

I don't deny it's frustrating as heck, especially if you're just waiting in a given Bozjan instance for CLL to pop, only to see it be unpopulated, or filled only with first-timers who don't know the fights and struggle to clear.

But hopefully one of those Discords can help a little and you won't be completely blocked.

Honestly, thank you. I don't really keep up with these types of things and have been looking around for a discord/linkshell involving Bozja, just without any luck since I didn't really have an idea of where to search. I'll be sure to give them a shot!

Honestly, I hope it ends up being a queue system like what Delubrum has(very unlikely at this point sadly), that way you can queue directly for it rather than hope it pops and fills every hour.

Yeah same. If it was a duty finder queue I'd help out even if I don't need loot. As is, I'm just too busy to spend my game time waiting for Lacus to pop, when I don't really need it.

I'll probably end up farming around Bozja for the rest of the achievements I don't have(particularly Castrum - need about 40 still - and CE - need almost 400 still - ones) after I finish my relics...but that won't be for a while I don't think...so if the way to get in doesn't change, then I will be in there for a while.

I suppose you're talking about CLL and DR, because the 24-man Raids where you farm the memories always popup. Especially the freaking CT series
