The limitations feel pretty bad in Rival Wings, where for strategic reasons you have reason enough where your party of four is apart, especially with one of you going back to grab a mech which may or may not even be in the fight you are in. It would be a great change for Frontline and Rival Wings. This change would have little impact on Feast, especially considering you serve to lose healing if you don't select a target. When they changed NF for PvE I was really hoping it would change in PvP, too.
It's fun ability. They can just remove the healing on Inner Chaos and make Nascent Flash self targetable. On second thought, just leave it since Warriors have access to both in Feast and it isn't broken at all. I'd just like to be able to use the action whenever it's needed in Frontlines or Rival Wings instead of requiring a party member.

Looking back at Warrior PvP at the beginning of ShB, it was obvious that the developers balanced PvP for feast, and didn't even consider Frontlines or other pvp modes. Some good adjustments have been made since then to make Warrior, and all jobs, more enjoyable in frontlines and other modes. They even added healing on Inner chaos recognizing that Warriors needed more healing in PvP. Now that Feast may be going away and Warriors can already self target Nascent Flash in PvE, why not just remove it for PvP and let Warriors have some fun for 6-7 months before the next expansion?
