With literally no information in the game given, how do I formulate this in my head? How can they even exist? There are literally no females to be seen. Anywhere.

Does the current Bozjan queen just magically turn people into Hrothgar?

Are all Hrothgar just Highlanders in fursuits?

The gams does give you the information that there are multiple female Hrothgar besides the Queen to reproduce with. Various priestess back in Bozja, and Magnus had his wife who was Hrothgar as well.

You notice how they don't have nipples? That's because they were actually born with a plethora of them. Over time, they drop off into the earth, where eventually they grow and sprout into new baby Hrothgar. The player models lack nipples because they're past reproducing age.

There is also Radovan from the Gunbreaker storyline who was a forced slave in Garlemald due to his family (wife and child/ren) being used as hostages.

Pretty sure all indications in the lore are that female Hrothgar are every bit as common as males. They just happen to never be on screen due to there being no models for them yet.

Ancient Bozja for example had a majority Hrothgar population, and most queens and priestesses were Hrothgar women just by population statistics. There were simply more Hrothgar women around than women of any other race.

Hrothgar reproduce like every other race; the males just heavily outnumber the females, who are kept off the battlefield for the preservation of the species. How such a species survives very long like that I'm... not very sure of, but that's what it is.

In regards to Bozja, like all city-states it was actually diverse. Thing is it had a strict caste system, one of which was a shaman caste which determined who would be queen. Most of them actually were Hrothgar women, but it just so happens the Queen Gunnhildr of legend (who saved Bozja by incarnate summoning herself as a primal with Save the Queen, only to unexpectedly have the Echo which left her lucid and with deific power, so the Gunnhildr's Blades of the time betrayed and killed her so she wouldn't learn she was meant to be nothing more than a sacrifice and go on a rampage with that power) was a Roegadyn.

Doylist answer: we haven't seen Hrothgar women because there are no models for them, and there are no models for them because Viera (p. much).

Lore needs to change for Hrothgars to say they reproduce asexually or are a Miqo'te and Roegadyn half species.

Or they can add female Hrothgar.

The call to action has to show them their level of ridiculousness.

Or the lore was written that way because the devs decided they only had the resources for one whole race and decided to split it into two since they felt like this is the last time anything could be added and wanted to add a race the players wanted (viera) and one they wanted (hrothgar).

I don’t agree with the decision, but it’s the decision they made and it’s likely to stay that way considering the state of things with both the process of developing content for the game and the state the world is in on top of that.

Not sure why a “call to action” is required.
