I've been playing mmos for about 16 years, been gaming in general for far longer, and I can count on one hand the amount of times I have needed customer service to help me with something.

I'm not saying FFXIV's customer service can't improve, it certainly can and should...I'm just wondering what are you doing in games that has caused you to be in contact with 39 different customer service teams. That number is insanely high.

And this part leads me to think you're either a troll or are very out of touch with reality. You're comparing customer service for a game with emergency and government services, and are somehow surprised the game service isn't as efficient.

I would explain to you why this is the case but considering the tremendously high number of times you have been in contact with game customer services, I think it's a safe bet to say that you won't accept any answer that isn't "you're absolutely correct sir". So I'm not going to waste my time.
