Regardless, it seems like it was your fault this happened, and the more you pester and annoy them the more you're probably going to get pushed back. IDK about how SE's customer service tickets work but when I worked in customer service every time a customer would update or file a new ticket it would just auto-push them to the back of the line as it registered their ticket as a "new" complaint - any updates to the ticket were supposed to be made AFTER it had been received by a representative and able to be confirmed received.
