CAN NOT ACCESS menu settings in game

Im playing at a local internet cafe while I get my PC built specifically for FF14. Ive been playing here for 7 months with out any issues until now. its April 20th and while I was logged on I could not access my main menu to check map, action/abilities, inventory, and everything else in that section. I noticed this when I could not even change jobs so I went to ask my LinkShell and I could not even send messages to LS/shout/tell to get some feedback. I tried 3 different computers and still had the same issue. I even called tech support and they stated that someone might have changed the keyboard settings. But that made no sense cause I tried 3 different comps. Am I the only person dealing with this issue? also I am on Excalibur Server.

I also read a post that said if you die it will fix the problem. I did that and it didnt work now I am dead and unable to access the menu to return to town! >;C

I have experienced this on two occasions for what it is worth. Firstly if tabbing to desktop then back FFXIV window, to solve I simply went to desktop and clicked on FFXIV window rather than tabbing to it. Secondly if broadband dipped for some reason, it seems the menu access loads last. Not sure if either of those are likely in your case...

thanks for trying to help, still no fix to the loading of the main menu while in game. right now im just out of town in uldah dead. wont be able to get revived or return to town until this bug is fixed. My guess is well its more than a guess I am positive that this is a bug that S-Enix wont admit to yet until others respond having the same issue as myself.
