Coming from WoW, Looking for a communty but please read

Hello, i've been playing WOW for 10+ years as Raid leader. After Shadowlands i decided to change game because i'm not enjoying it anymore but i would like to find a community that can be considered "guild".
What does it mean?

I am looking for a community that is active on discord since after work i would like to chill and have a chat togheter and that is interested in raiding. Right now i am levelling various characters and i have Samurai 71 - White Mage 74 - Black Mage 72

I'm a new FFIX player so i don't know a lot of mechanics of this game but i do have a good view of the MMos since i come from WoW.

I've looked on the Community Finder but seems like that not a lot of community use discord / they are active to play togheter as a group.

Sorry can you confirm FFXIV or FFIX? It's just you mention IX in your post but this is a XIV forum.

If you're looking for people to talk to on Discord, I'd recommend joining a large FC and not a small one. Small ones tend to be quite close-knit so you might not get the reception you want. Larger FCs tend to have a more casual attitude and people sit in Discord to chat away.

Should be FXIV the one that you can play online. I used this community finder but people are not answer when you write down below recruitment, any tips or do you know any active community? I really like this game but it's so much hard to find FC or to have a chat with some FC leader/Officer.

once you are on max level and you want to do the hard content you can find a Group here: https://discord.gg/F7tgC4S
As small reminder, often your every day friends group (FC) is not your try hard savage group (static).
You don't need a full guild to clear stuff, just the 8 people in a static are enough.

Thanks a lot for the help. I decided to pick up all the discords so i am sure that i will be able to find someone to play with. Right now i am levelling as healer but i will do tank aswell so i have more chances to be invited in the "raids".

The game seems really cool, i just need to find some cool people aswell to enjoy it as a group. The idea at the end would be to do Savage Raiding which is the "Mythic" version of WoW as far as i understood.

If someone with an active FC is looking for an healer/tank with interest of learning the game, reading guides and strats please let me know. Thanks a lot again
