Same problem here too :/
Every time I login I'm *instantly* hit with a DX11 error (or just a DX error if i switch 11 off)
I resub, then hours later an ice storm knocks off my power for a few days.
Then I come back to an update which totally screws me over.
My luck is fantastic.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
32 GB RAM
Everything was working fine before the update, after the update I did a few pixie dailies and then went to do the dwarf ones and crashed.
And now it's just instantly crashing every time I login.

Finally gave up trying to do thing after thing and just fully reinstalled and now it's fine. We'll see for how long I guess.

Lol. Well that didn't last long. Got 2 days of playing, then i got the error, and now FF14 won't even load.
It just hangs on launch after the login window.
Look I have a fairly large data cap but if I have to redownload the game every 2 days I'm gonna hit it. :/

I'm envious of everyone that says they get this error and they can still play
Every time I've got this error, it's been as I cast teleport.
Any subsequent attempts to launch the game give this error immediately after getting in world.
The only solution for me is a full reinstall.
I've zipped up the entire game so I can uninstall/unzip it when this happens but christ this is such a pain.

They're coming more frequently. Zipping the files failed me for one reason or another, so I had to do a 3rd download.
Making a straight copy, while taking more space, does at least help to recover ff14 back to a playable state by coping over the backup file.
This is nuts but whatever. Hopefully SE fixes this shit sooner rather than later.

The only place I'm still getting the DX11 errors is in Bozjan. Constantly.
If I can go 5 minutes without getting one while trying to attack I'm lucky.
Unlike the other times I got the error though, I can relaunch fine, but yeah it's just, constant.

I appear to FINALLY be in the clear. I did the following:
- Removal of GEFORCE Experience.
- Clean install of current NVIDIA drivers (it's an option you can pick when installing drivers)
- Full uninstall of FF14
- CC cleaner run
- Full reinstall/download on C drive with NOTHING ELSE running.
I also did not use my backup download folder, so that brings my downloads of this game in the past week up to 4, JFC.
anyway, I hope this helps SOMEONE, that's why i've been going over the dumb shit i've been doing, lol.
