Got that to with another char.
Couldn't log in for two days with that char.
I deinstalled FFXIV and installed it over night.
That worked for that char.
I will see it today evening after work if the crashes come back :/
Got mine fixed. I just borrowed a working copy of the game. Just overwrite (or delete/uninstall the non working folder where the game is installed) it with a working copy (from someone you know). Not sure if this will work with everyone, so might as well as back up the original copy of the game.
Update from me. After running out of stuff I wanted to do yesterday, I decided to back up my settings and stuff and uninstall the game to redownload it for the third time.
I had low expectations from the beginning, since, didn't help the last two times, however, when it was done and ready to go again, I immediately hopped on to test it out.
Normally I would get a crash as soon as I got near a Skirmish in Bozja Southern Front, I was pretty surprised when it did not crash. After 15 minutes with no issues there I decided to go to the North Shroud, where these crashes sort of started/were most common.
After flying around like crazy for another 15 minutes (it was pretty late and I was very tired), still no crash! Normally I would have had a bunch of crashes in the North Shroud, especially around Fallgourd Float.
So I am hoping that this third reinstallation of the game fixed my errors, because I have not had one so far today, which has not happened in a long time. It could also just be a coincidence.
I am halfway sure they will return at some point, but I am quite happy about this situation right now.

After coming back to play the game with the new patch, I was first hit with being dropped to desktop with no error message when trying to enter Sigmascape specifically. Reinstalling fixed that issue until I decided to get caught up on my edenverse questline, the game crashed me with this error after beating the boss and it loading up the cinematic, logged back in, finished and left the raid instance. Then when talking to the quest npc it goes to load a cinematic again and boom, the same error happened again. Only thing thats changed about my hardware is reinstalling on a fresh SSD but even then didn't get any issues otherwise until this latest patch.

The only crash I've been getting is the DirectX Error (11000002). And I don't know how to fix it.
Kinda new to the game, WoW refuge.. and no matter how much I hated Blizzard -- I have to admit that their overall service was more up to date, from forums, UI, engine, and the list goes on. It's quite sad that I keep getting these errors lately, it has quite literally ruined my experience with the game multiple times. Not to mention that the game should have DX12 support by now, having quite terrible performance with AMD cards.
p.s. and just FYI, Nvidia performs better with DX11 CPU-bound games such as FFXIV.
1. I'm using an Nvidia card and still have constant crashes.
2. Can't let this tread die!
3. It seems like there are a lot of other threads like this one on the forum too. Glad to see SE is working hard to fix this game breaking issue.
DX crashes several times a day, never use to have this issue. Since I came back it happens constantly.

Third day. So far the reinstalling the game seems to make it playable until I hop off the first time, come back to it the next day, then, specifically when loading into a raid, trial and now area it will just drop me to desktop. Todays problem is the Tempest. I'm starting to think you guys need to invest into some way for the launcher to scan the install for corrupted or badly installed files and repair.
