Teleport Trade Cancels Need to Stop

I've experienced this once...but it was a FC member who was trolling me until I told them off, in FC chat while a large group was online. Aside from that...I'm probably too anti-social in game for people to even bother(though I tend to hang out near my personal house or in the field rather than in the cities...)

I think it's stupid to have opening a trade cancel a teleportation. It should not, and I think the trade prompt should be cancelled upon exiting the zone.

I think it has to do with preventing loading as much as possible. It's why you have prompts to enter/leave house. There is a chance you may want that trade, so the game cancels the teleport to let you finish the trade first. Obviously it can be abused, but they should be reported.

This has never happened to me. I didn't even know this was an issue.

A few years ago, Yoshi P went to the Tonberry server during a live stream I think. The people there kept trading with him to stop him from teleporting.

He's aware of it since he was experienced it 1st had, but I guess they didn't find a solution.

He might be aware that it could be an issue, but that doesn't mean it's a common enough issue that something needs to be done about it beyond reporting any persistent abuse. Again, I think it was a deliberate decision for teleport and trade to interact that way.

there is no way this happens to u often enough that u can't just report the 1 or 2 times someone that isn't a friend does this to you a year

I am also interested in what you did that led to the point of 80% of your data center wanting to trade block you every time they see your name.

You have any idea how many report's i would have to fill out ? All I want to do is enjoy the game not spending my time filling reports that arent going to be seen for months.

How are you getting this issue from multiple people?
Never happened to me or anyone I know.
Are you sure its not the same person/people doing this?
