    ***SPOILERS*** Location of the last quest for 5.55 and first quest of 6.0

    So with two of the confirmed locations for Endwalker being
    Thravanir and Garlemald does anyone else feel like the last quest of 5.55 and the first quest of Endwalker will be in Kugane. There is both a Thravanian and Garlean Embassy there, and I always felt those would come into play one day. We might possibly see a situation similar to patch 2.55 where we are forced to flee a losing situation with the towers and end up in one of the few places spared them at the moment, Kugane, there we meet with the Thravanian Ambassadors and maybe even some refugees from Garlemald seeking aid. Kugane would then play a somewhat similar role to Camp Dragonhead in patch 2.55 a place of refuge where we wait for a reply from the Thravanians until we can get access to the new expansion areas.

    Depends on when the apocalypse/Final Days begin. If there are demons spawning every and fire raining from the heavens and wiping out cities, the heroes do not have the time to spend a month on a boat detouring to Kugane, and then however much time it takes to sail to Thavnair. They'd either just sail from Limsa straight to Thavnair, or just take an airship from Eorzea and fly straight to the capitol, or at least as close as possible. A leisurely ride from Limsa to Kugane and then to Thavnair only makes sense if the Final Days haven't begun yet.

    Hm, so if we take that the expansion needs six zones, I could see 3 for Thavnair, 2 for Garlemald and the last one being on the Moon?...

    Or we might see it even more scattered?

    They already said that the entire island of Thavnair was one region. So what I'd guess:
    Thavnair region + Radz-at-Han (endgame hub)
    Sharlayan (main city, like Ishgard/Kugane/Crystarium)
    3 regions in Ilsabard, including the Garlean capital
    1 region on/in the moon
    1 surprise region, pointless to try to predict now.

    Do not forget that scions now have their own private airship.

    They also made an emphasis on them being massive regions, hence Thravanir and Garlemald being one zone, meaning they may be larger then normal, if this is the case there may be less zones but more detail and size in the zones we have added.

    The world map shows a massive volcano on the Thavnair island. If we use the New Year's poem and FFIV plot for evidence this could be the entrance to an underground area.

    Also the website for Endwalker implies that the Garlean Capital will be one area. So counting the "Destroyed" Garlean Capital, Thavnair, and the moon make 3 areas of 6.

    This is actually a good idea, Kugane could use a little more love in 6.0 since Ishgard has been getting lots of DOH/L content and now housing, so it's a perfect start off point. If in 5.5 we start seeing someone as a Thavnir rep pop up to require aid from the Scions, that will seal the deal. (Or that dude with the round red shades that works for Lolorito, who wants us to visit)

    I just think after the whole debate between all the important people, the solution will be to go to Sharlayan, the main city of 6.0
    What did we resolve in 5.4 ? An issue in Limsa Lominsa about the pirates, their functions in the city (so we could use their help later).
    Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn will ask to their friendly citizens pirates to bring us to Sharlayan by boats, maybe because they are the only one to know the path, who knows.
    I guess we will wait for all the boats to be prepared between 5.55 and 6.0.
