Golbez on the Moon?

I was really hoping that the Alliance raid series would be based on FF4 stuff, but then they went and said it will be something completely unique to FF14.

Sucks since MSQ bosses are ridiculously easy due to people "role-playing" as Fallout 1 intelligence meme. I hope I'm wrong on this one.

We will definitely have FFIV content on the moon. Not sure if it will be Golbez; could very well be a character like Estinien (AKA Kain) or Krile or Hien which has the spirit of the character in the MSQ. We might get the elemental archfiends as a trial series or something since now is a good as time as any. New alliance raid series is going to be original but it can still pull references for the Lunar Subterrane.

Well fortunately MSQ bosses have also had a history of Extreme fights, so at very least, we should get Anima EX, which I would look forward to.

I think we are going to get a Golbez reference, but not Golbez himself.
Similar to what they did with Ultimecia.
And I'd even say Zenos is the reference to Golbez to be honest.
(He has memories of the Final Days, provided to him by Emet. Emet secretly kept the memories of Azem...And though he never got to awaken Azem's soul shards, he could have used Zenos as a vessel for Azem's memories. So maybe Zenos is 'our brother'...)

Well, Namingway is a minion.
However.....Hummingways have to be the second beast tribe that they teased, right? They teased that the second beast tribe would be based on the Moon.

For "Villain who is our brother, but eventually goes good" - we kind of already have the Ascians. Quite a few of them, sorta. Maybe even Lahabrea, if the Pandaemonium thing is giving him a redemption arc

We've gotten basically all of the non-dialogue FF4 bosses already over the years (a few as regular enemies or NPCs tho): Mist Dragon, Octomammoth, Mom Bomb, Calcabrina, Demon Wall, CPU (Allagan Defense Node), all the summons (except Asura).
But I'm expecting to see most or all of: the Elemental Fiends, the Magus Sisters, Doctor Lugae, Golbez, and Zemus/Zeromus. Or at least bosses that are clearly a reference to them.

I've suspected for years they were holding out on these until it was Moon time. And soon it shall be.
