That would be neat, but most jobs store their weapons / tools on their back.
(DRG, BRD, MCH, PLD, DRK, GNB, WAR, AST, WHM, & BLM, along with many DoL and DoH jobs too)


Additionally, if SQEX were planning on adding a new item category like this, I don't think they would be moving the slots to weapons and rings inventory space.

They should have made it a nonunique tradeable speed bracelet or speed necklace instead of a unique untradeable ring. The ring being unique means even if it drops from the king crab fate you won't get it in your inventory.

Yyyup. Chose literally the one piece of gear they should've avoided. Shame, since now that it's done, they're unlikely to change it again to something else.

Best case now would be to have Arthro drop a token to trade in for the ring, allowing players to collect extra tokens to sell off.
