Login Error (screenshot inc.)

Seem to have an error trying to login today.

my internet connection is fine everything else is working fine i ran a speed test at the same time i encountered this problem with ffxiv and the results are here.

Yesterday i was experiencing problems also and pretty much gave up trying to play last night. it would let me in the game for a few minutes but kept getting booted out.

I can do pretty much anything else on the interent. and I'm currently playing the future soldier beta on xbox so i think my connection is stable. any ideas why i get this problem.

I'm too and a friend are getting this message today we have been trying to most of today to log on but have no luck

Character names Wiremeshi Gilgameshi and Tullaris Valedew problem started today about 12:00pm if anyone can give us some fed back we would be very grateful as its not possible to log in.

I must add our internet connections are not effected and we have not changed any fire wall settings.

I'm having the same problem, first noticed it on Friday. My ISP is also O2 which is the same network as BE?, so is it something to do with them or just coincidence that we all have the same provider. It stopped working on both my PC & Laptop with the same error, and they dont use the same OS so I dont think its a software problem.

I noticed a lot of problems in Gridania and around Tuning Leaf... but this is normal (sadly) for that area for me.

Rarely have problems anywhere else.

Just an update for those afflicted by this issue.
A friend of mine is currently also affected by this, but can't post the information due to the fact that he can't login.
I'm posting on his behalf:

There is a problem on the other end with 02/BE, nothing really to do with SE or us. Basically have to wait until Monday for an update to the issue. Details are in the links provided:

I can log in today I was meant to let some of your you know I had a chat with 02 yesterday and they confirmed that there was a problem with their isp and was looking into it but I was lock out from SE account page relating to the same problem.
