    potential future for DRK

    i would love to see DRK become the burst shield tank of the 4 rn. we're already getting a really good shield with TBN, we can already achieve insanely good oGCD bursts with proper resource management. i say we take those two aspects and run with them. give him more shielding in kit add a health cost system so the shields are more valuable on him , and make him able to say sacrifice 6k health for 2k mana just random numbers but you get it. make him a far more riskier tank but for much greater reward in terms of burst potential. which is kinda the whole thing for the dark arts you can't dip too heavily into it but if you do it enough the power can be amazing.

    the devs have already said they will not put in hp sacrifice abilities on drk to make it more viable as a tank (according to hw design interview)

    well that sucks it would add alot and make it more separated than the other tanks i would still like to see the shield and burst heavy aspects tho

    Dark Arts was supposed to mimic the idea of sacrificing hp. They obviously can't do full HP conversion of it since DRK would be a giant pain to heal, especially if you could spam it. And they want accessibility, not turn people away from it.

    And even then, I have no faith they'd pull it off. They have a good thing to build on with the Darkside gauge: hopefully they build it so it and Blood/Shadow aren't just gussied up buffs and DoT/Beast Gauge.
