I just found the way Final Fantasy XIV is written was weird and unusual and actually read Final Fantasy XV at first. It could be a hint at FFXIV being renamed FFXV for 2.0, a decision I could understand considering the terrible reputation FFXIV has.

At the same time though I'm not entirely sure they'd want to dedicate a number to the incomplete version 1.xx. Though SE's PR logic has always been anyone's guess ^^;
The Ul'duh Inn is like an antique shop...full of crap and always closed."You don't have to say anything, I just look at your life now and work backwards." - Black Books
-May contain spoilers if you haven't played through/beaten FF5 or 10-
The hint could be in relations to 10 and 5, when I saw the weapons on top of the moon it made me think of FF5 where you have to go on trials to obtain the legendary weapons in the game, so I said it on another forum but it feels like Dalamud will be involved in obtaining them.
Then we have the feeling of a cemetery.. in FF10 there was a place in the world in which people could talk to the lost souls and where you found out a secret about Auron and Seymour(later on) so perhaps Dalamud is a Valhalla where the souls of dead warriors are laid to rest so our job souls will resonate with the moon and most likely cause a reaction which will give us a quest to obtain our AF weapons.
For FF5 I see AF weapons representing http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Sealed_Weapons
And for FF10 I see http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Farplane which would explain why it looks like a cemetery lol.
-edit-
The other comparison I see with FF5 is dalamud could indeed merge with eorzea to create a new world in the same manner that the 2 worlds in ff5 combined into one planet. In that sense the picture could represent how the red moon's color is filling the sky because it's going to cover the land of Eorzea in it's esesnce, rather then the moon creating a crater it'll sprinkle it's essence over Eorzea and cause it to metamorph.
