Lodestone Profile

Hello,

I would like to ask to the lodestone forum dev :
Why our Lodestone profile is not used for the forum ?

To play the game i have to log in.
To see my blog on lodestone i have to log in.
And now to post a message on the forum i have to log in also.

The forum should be linked with our lodestone profile.
I hate to compare Final Fantasy 14 to other game but for the forum you should the same system as another famour MMO do.

The announcement for the forum mentioned that this would be a feature eventually. The forums are currently in Beta. (Much like the game! Heh!)

Thanks for answer.
But as a Beta this should have been a default option ....
I know dev team are realy busy but i don't understand why they keep making choice that seems so odd about the game.
I hope one of them would have some time to answer me.

It's not as easy to implement as you might think. Likewise the forums weren't even originally scheduled to launch this early.. The fact we have forums AT ALL is pretty amazing, frankly, what with us never having had them in FFXI after all these years..

Well i played FF11 since 2004. And at this time communication between game dev and players was not necessary.
Game dev do a game and player go with it.
Right now everything has changed, i'll give one exemple : increasing level limit in FF11. For years they say "NO" and 75 will be last limit then if you want to up your character you go with limit points. Now we will be soon 95 and exp is no more a pain in the ass like before lol.

I think for FF14 they had this kind of mind and that why from the beta till they lauch the game they only did minor bug fixe. Now they understand that they have to please most of the player if they want the game be great.

I just hope they don't end up making a FF11 bis game from FF14. This game is unique on many point. The arsenal is not perfect and they can enhanced it. Thinking that they would add whitemage blackmage or any other classic name make me fear for the future of the game.
