Sightings of Edda Pureheart's group

Hi. I was hoping you guys could help me with something.
After having played some part of the game, or when I meet some character I find interesting, I usually browse around on the net for lore about that particular person - Since I'm a bit of a lore-nut.
So. I came across an adventuring group haranguing (read; bullying) their poor Healer...

I think you can guess were this is going.

So I started looking around for info about our favorite ghost-girl, and something came up that made me go: "Hold on a minute, I didn't see that. Did I miss it?"

As far as I know, you see Edda four times - Once outside the first dungeon, once after Tam-Tara at the inn, inside Tam-Tara during Hard, and in Palace of the Dead.

But many of the sources online mentioned that you see Edda's group around the entrance of Tam-Tara before you finish it.
I had no memory of that when I did it, so I changed over to another character that hadn't finished TT and ran over to the entrance and looked over every nook and cranny of the place around TT that I could think of. I didn't find anything.
So I thought; "Hey, maybe they're in the cut-scene that introduces the Dungeon?" No such luck
No matter how hard I look I can't find them. I even looked around a bit during the dungeonering itself, you know, if they maybe were something during the run inside that I missed the first time.

I simply can't find them/her around TT before it's cleared the first time.
Have I missed something? Did whichever people writing that information mistake Dolorous Bear and his group for Edda's group? Have Square removed the group in that particular place after it was written and the texts simply aren't up to date?

This is driving me slightly nuts, and if anyone could help me get to the bottom of this I would be ever so grateful.

It is most likely just people misremembering due to the importance the Tam-Tara Deepcroft ends up having in those characters' stories.

2013 was many moons ago for me but my first reaction was, "Wasn't that Dolorous Bear / Alianne's groups?" too, lol.

Started an alt like 2 weeks ago (yes, 2 weeks before an important patch, I know...), can confirm, only Dolorous Bear and Alianne's groups are there. Alianne went inside with Isildaure and the two barely escaped with their lives, Dolorus Bear and his group I believe were wiped out in there... maybe, I may be misremembering that part.

Dolorus Bear and his group got wiped out by the giants in the Copperbell Mines. You find that out by talking to Alianne outside the entrance, I believe.
(You meet Dolorus Bear and his group after finishing Sastasha, and at the entrance to Tam Tara Deepcroft)

You see Edda Pureheart a couple of times:
She and her party outside Sastasha.
She and the remains of her party after you finish Tam-Tara Deepcroft.
You meet Edda once again after finishing Copperbell Mines
Then of course during Tam Tara Deepcroft (Hard) - both inside and outside of the dungeon.
And finally during Palace of the Dead.

Man, makes ya wonder how hard things are for the NPC groups, huh? It also begs the question, why was that front gate locked still, a Coblyn with the key, in Copperbell, if Dolorus Bear had recently been in?

That would depend on just how far into the mines the instance actually starts. We can't see daylight from the starting point, so we could just be picking up from where Dolorous Bear's group fell. I guess their corpses are a couple of rooms back.
