I wonder if they make us pay for additional retainers. If thats the case, i will just make 7 Mules + 7 free Retainers. So in fact we can already have 8 free Retainers. Just have to send items and gil between muels and main, but its already confirmed that this will be possible in 2.0. So we even get more Retainers by the change of the payment system.
You should beable to but I think in the manual for the game it says that if you want to do this you will need to add your PS3's regestration code to your SE accoun, but after that you should beable to swap between them all day.Dear Se,
This shows hw much you care about your community.
Thank you for caring so much.
But i have one question left so if you can ask the DEVS about this it would be apreaciated.
When the ps3 version of FFXIV is going to be launched is it possible to link that to my current accoutn so i can use my account on both ps3 and pc,
and if that is possible will the legacy still count if i merge my ps3 account with the my pc version.
Excited for my A.Yoshida chocobo.
Well it seems Joystiq's userbase is taking the news fairly well.

Hmmm no you can do every storyline on every character. There's only VARIATIONS that you can't do based on Grand Company choice and those VARIATIONS aren't such a huge change that you'd need a 2nd or 3rd character to get. The main storyline is accessible to everyone. The beauty of an MMO is there's many storylines that you get to enjoy one based around your choice.
At least, that's how good MMOs used to be.
Ha, just read through it. The only guy complaining was just told "gtfo troll" by pretty much everyone else present.Well it seems Joystiq's userbase is taking the news fairly well.

Nice to see more people are willing to give the game a second chance. Also nice to see that this article isn't flooded with "vii remake omg".
Oh yeah, and I'm surprised Kotaku isn't trolling it yet.
I'm still confused. Aren't we playing 2.0 Beta right now? So from January 6th, 2012 to January 7th, 2012?Just going to pop in quickly to clarify Legacy member qualification for those that are unsure:
Paying for at least 90 days at any time between January 6, 2012 and the start of 2.0 beta testing is how you qualify to become a Legacy member. You do not need to pay for 90 days in a row to qualify.
Hope that clears that up!
Joking aside lol. This is awesome news. I was a little worried the other day because I forgot to add Crista to my account and it expired. But now I know I am safe cause it's been active since B.Y (Before Yoshi) similar to B.C.
