I don't think it will be cancelled. But I think we will hear more possibly on Friday, along with news about the next expansion.

I've been asked about this with increasing frequency lately. Mayhaps more people are discovering this gem of a series.

We'll probably see the site updated with news about the event in the coming days. I don't think it'll be cancelled, though it remains to be seen if we get any major rewards this time around.

Valentione's Day has run from the last week of January until just after Valentine's Day in the past, with the announcement posted one week prior to the event start.

We're already into February with no announcement. It's understandable that people would be curious since we haven't heard anything at all.

A delay is fine and understandable.
Nothing wrong with that.
But if something IS being delayed they could/should at least tell us.

I don't think it's being delayed as has already been said it will probably reveal some information at the live letter this Friday and/or information revealed either later this week or sometime next week I think.

sometimes they give less than a weeks notice for holiday events like valentines because everyone knows roughly when it is. its not a one off like a crossover event which needs more lead time. they still have two weeks before it should be considered late but I agree with previous posts, it'll most likely get announced friday.
