People seems to often forgot the step of ARR relic where you were asking from crafting stuff (which was asking for exclusive mat from desynthesis specific item) and special loot you could get when finishing a specific dungeon (was not 100% drop rate like after nerf).
I was lucky with the dungeon drop stuff, just have to do 90 runs in total, but i remember people having to do smth like 40+ runs for getting the Val aurum item XD (if i remember we had to farm 12 different dungeon).
Or the atma step pre-nerf, was luckly to get all of them with just 300 fates while a friend of mine just got 2-4 atma on the 12 needed in 300 fates ^^'.
So the current grid is so far better than ARR. By the way it is because of the ARR relic that dungeon give the most token on the last boss, i remember when people while farming memo for the relic where only doing the 2-first boss of Braflox HM because it was the more efficient way to farm memo.
And for people annoying to be forced to do castrum run, remember in ARR the HM primal (Titan notably) was compulsory and far harder than now thank to the ilvl.
People were asking for a mixte of Eureka and the old relic (ARR/HW) and they got exactly what they were asking.

well but we got another 2 jobs with this patch, so i dont think they should aply same mentality of grind each expansion not including, how many jobs are there
To be fair, the content was locked to level 50 back then. We had limited things to do beside coil and tomestone, less roulettes and primals to farm. Overall, not much to do.guess you forgot the Raid weekly quest series for the relic and the tomes required to complete these so you'll end up doing a lot more raids than 36 back then
also book phase for relics did cost 2000 tomes ,atma fates and 20 a9s was not enough light back when Anima relics were relevant
Outside of savage prog/reclears, there's nothing better to do right now really. So I'll take it one step at a time. But I agree tho that drop rates in Bozja are a bit ridiculous compared to the super easy and quickly farmable ST. I don't understand SE really, they do everything in their power to push people away from their fresh and new content. It's a weird design choice.

i'm glad they made it harder, a relic should not be something easily gotten, it should be something you have to work for, not something everyone has within a week of the relesae.
Then make it 100 memories of nightmare... just dont make the RNG so crappy... this way SOME people have to work their butt off while other really lucky people still get it within a week.
This is not in any way "hard" to get. Hard and not easily gotten implies difficulty. All this takes is mindless grinding for a few hours while watching netflix. I would love for them to make another weapon that is actually hard to get instead of tediously grinding something I barely have to pay attn to.
But I agree with the OP, if they want to keep us tediously grinding in Bozja to allow ppl who perhaps did not do the content in the first 3 weeks to get the wins and not just queueing for syrcus tower repeatedly, they need to improve drop rates. I was in there for 2 hours last night and didn't get a single drop, meaning syrcus tower it is.
I wouldn't say it's harder by any means...just time consuming. Which I'm guessing was the point. I think we are currently at HW levels of grind, which wasn't hard either, but took a fair amount of time.
