And this is PER RELIC! This is actually horrific! Thank God I only really play two classes! Jesus Christ. It takes roughly 5 hours to get just the 15 crystal tower raids. I can't remember exactly how long the quickest Shadow of Mhach raids last, or the Ivalice raids. The new 24 man will be the absolute worse, probably an hour a run, plus all the learning players.

I'm glad I only plan to do one, because I couldn't stomach doing it again. lol

As an aside, the quickest HW raid is without a doubt Void Ark. People cruise through that almost as fast as ST. For Stormblood? Probably Rabanastre. That one will probably be the longest grind, aside from the new raid. But that one should get a little easier as time goes on as more people learn it.

I'm confused. They make a new alliance and its fun. Why don't we get like 2 or 3 memories from clearing that? It would keep the content alive. They don't learn at SE... It might be completely dead again in a few weeks like Castrum is.

So I'm at the part of the quest where I need to get 18 of two types of memories gotten through FATEs in Gyr Abania / Othard, or HW/SB 24mans.

After 19 fates with 0 drops, I'm gonna go ahead and call this RNG pretty stupid. My only alternative will be to run the raids, which even if I spread them out perfectly, would still require 6 runs of EACH of them.

SE. You make good content in general, I like it. But nothing, absolutely nothing is enjoyable when you have to run it that many times in a row. It gets boring. Who gave this the go-ahead?

I was hoping for "fixed Eureka" with this relic, and instead we went down the route of ARR/HW-esque "spam old content ad nauseam".

They gave it a weekly, that gives you 3 gold coins you can trade in for the newer gear, guaranteed. They learned...just not enough.

Also, the requirement to be the job with the relic to earn memories means there's no way to also level your Blue Mage to 70 at the same time, which lowers the amount of people participating in that right now too.

Why? It takes 30 minutes to level BLU to 70.

Because its nice to multitask, I leveled my Blue Mage during the Yo-Kai Watch event and the previous Relic memories farm and it made both feel more rewarding.

The armor also doesn't make sense, even after finishing the story last time, I did multiple Castrum runs to get coins to get the new armor sets, but now the coins you get from Delubrum can only be turned in for 100 for 1 coin of the actual currency you need to get the gear or doing a weekly quest to get 3. So the new raid is hard and the rewards such a pittance it pretty much makes it only feasible to just hope to complete it once a week until you get tired of doing it or pulled away from whatever the next patch/expansion has to offer.

Here's to the next 2-3 months getting nothing but Syrcus Tower for this roulette. If I was the WoL, I would obliterate that effin tower, I kid you not.
