Even just having four stacks is a lot and can greatly imbalance the game if one team gets two four stacks and the other teams get none. Not sure what the back-end is like but it would be cool if arranged parties were better distributed.

As it stands, my partner who is relatively new to FL has over 42% 1st WR, because we almost always play together. I am far from being a great player, but it kind of shows the destruction that is wrought from having just two above average players able to be on comms together. We should never let 8 stacks happen again.

People who complain about "muh full premade of 8 people wit friends!" Are being disingenuous at worst and willfully ignorant at best about how much it skewed games in their favor. For all you want to claim that you just wanted to play with 5+ friends, it was an oversight frequently abused by PvP vets to steamroll other teams for "easy wins" to the point where they could effectively shutdown opposing teams from even leaving their spawn. Nothing exemplifies this more than when the devs first limited premades to no more than 4 at the start of Onsal Hakir and forcing premades to freelance, and vets proceeded to all congregated to one GC without forming parties to stack their odds right before universal forced freelancer. I've seen people admit as much to it in places like here or reddit- and I'm old enough to remember when people would ask how to improve their winrates only to be met with "start a premade" as a response.

I always get a kick out of it when people respond about this with comments like "imagine playing an MMO alone" or "maybe there shouldn't be 'premades' in PvE (statics) either?" like they're even remotely comparable. Imagine thinking you are entitled to construct your own party and compete against people who all got assigned randomly to their teams. Be thankful the devs decided it to still be acceptable to queue as 4 as opposed to taking a page out of their Feast seasons and eliminating it/separating it entirely.

Don't need to sell something that 99% of the playerbase has already bought. I would love nothing more than PvP to be awesome, but as it stands right now SE literally does not care about it. There's not enough people to even care about it for SE to take notice of it. It is an afterthought and no amount of "Try to sell this" bs is going to change that. It's a dead feature with an even more dying community whether you believe so or not.

Primal back to the time where GC restriction still exist.
Yeah you are definitely making up story.
For one, I am Adder with 38 % winning rate and was first person got the horse on Primal, so where did your Maelstrom always win coming from
Second, me and few others were actively to make sure Maelstrom will lose the game and there is absolutely no chance that Malestrom win every game.

Refuse to learn is one thing and make up story is really another

If i had to file any complains on Frontline Roulette, it would be the fact that both Rival Wings maps (Astragalos und Hidden Gorge) aren't part of it for some reason.

Exactly. All PvP ALWAYS comes down to cheating, cheesing, or somehow abusing the system. It's just human nature. The GOAL of any developer should be simply to mitigate the cheating in order to create a fun experience for all, because being cheated is NEVER fun. And, in FF14, this should mean not allowing any pre-made groups into Frontlines because Frontlines is a roulette queue that normal, solo players are allowed to play for fun. Thus, they should make it competitive and fun and not just an exploit-fest.

I have no idea. I can assure you that Mael won 90% of the matches on Crystal due to GC scamming to the point where the other GCs just refused to play. Then, the Mael people just sat around complaining about the wait times. I was in a Mael FC at the time and saw them complaining constantly, even though I wasn't PvPing at that point as I wasn't levelling other classes with that character. That was on Mateus before I decided to start a new character on Goblin. And, they knew they were cheating. They openly laughed about how stupid the people were that still played for GCs other than Mael. But, no idea about Primal. Maybe the GC for alliance scamming on Primal was Adders. You probably know if you were the one doing it

It looks like we are talking about two completely different time period. (Crystal doesn't exist at beginning)
I am talking about Maelstrom since Frontline installed in game but you are referring that short period after Onsal installed in the game.

Indeed, there was an issue few weeks after Onsal installed where people is making 24 men premade.
Even thought I didn't join it but it is not a cheat or explicit and it is part of in game mechanic just people never actually tried to use it.
Most of time people just do 8 men premade with friends and no one even bother to go that extreme.

I can fully understand why people were doing it.
Veterans just got sick of it after SE bend over to pvp casuals by enforced free lancer.
Frontline is plagued by glamour farmers, people who refuse to learn, and people who thinks use PvP is just a after thought to cover their own failure.

During that period, if you joined Onsal and these are the people you got.
They don't listen to the instruction and they just do whatever they see fits.
I am fully understand their intention even i am not joining one and I don't blame them.
