Won't happen. You're failing to address one major issue that you have neglected. I don't know whether out of pure selfishness or just blatant ignorance, but in case you forgot there is a worldly affair about that has gripped multitudes of communities from fashion, tech, agricultural, and even educational ordeals.
The gaming industry is no different as it shares with other industries one key factor: human factors.
The developmental team has announced that the pandemic has affected their capabilities and has even promised to resume the scheduled course of things to come. But they of course have not made known the specific difficulties they currently face. One thing that could be on-going without our knowing is that members of their team perhaps have contracted this terrible disease. That will surely cripple the expansive potential for other side projects such as gender-fluid equipment.
The development team is doing what is right and that is to stay the main course. The game's overall life and health is more important than adaptive glamour-wear because they are technically a business.
While we do not wish them to go beyond their mortal limits and hope they are doing well despite the surrounding calamities, gender-fluid adaptations will have to wait.
