Which is the dungeon with the most awesome, sheer BAMFery in ARR? (yes, I’m new-ish)

So I just did most of “The Parting Glass” segment of the story. I know my WoL can talk because I’ve seen her do so many times before, so I am not very happy right now. (I AM pretty happy with Raubahn, and I was fond of him already.) Which dungeon(s) from 2.0 should I run to best feel my character is tough and cool again? Right now I’m just farming fleece...

The ARR duties that make me feel cool and powerful are Quarn (hard) and Aurum Vale.

The first (and only) time I did Aurum Vale, there was this EPIC tank... I guess I ought to run it again and see about being the most epic DPS I can be.

I did unlock Qarn on hard mode, because I remember looking at the brothers’ eyes and thinking they looked like future dual-boss characters. I need to actually get in there. Thank you!

Fun fact OP, in 1.0 there was an achievement for never eating one of the DoT removing fruits.
It makes for a fun run. The achievement is no long in the game, but I'd recommend giving it a shot

ARR? Last dungeon in main story. Last trial before HW is great too..for one time (it comes so often in roulette you will get used to it).

Im fan of The Lost City of Amdapor myself but the last boss can cause trouble to un-prepared. Satasha (hard) is pretty funny continuation of the story, not really BAMF levels tho.

Halatali Hard is intresting too I'd say. Depends what you like.

Edit: If you have friends at high levels, ask them to do Coils raids with you! (UNSYNCED)! The story is amazing and will effect some of future dialogue on cutscenes. The "starting coils" are bit odd (like theres one thats literally "jumping puzzle") but the further you go, the better it gets on story.

Are you referring to... I’ll call it the SoF? I love me some SoF, and I have done that one again already with a smile on my face.

I’m glad somebody else thought Sastasha Hard was funny. I have a morbid sense of humor and I know I laughed.

All those dungeons you listed were indeed awesome to experience... well, I can’t speak to Binding Coils, because I’ve been putting those off, but I ought to stop procrastinating. Thanks for the answers!

Pharos Siruis (the Blue quest in Aleport in La Noscea) is a hot contender of being one of my top 5 favorite dungeons in the game Aurum Vale and Qarn being very high up there as well. A itch that wouldn’t be satisfied until The Burn in the 70s and so far nothing in the 80s has as much girth

I have fond memories of Pharos Sirius because we ALMOST got to the top and then our tank died and the trash came after me. I was more tickled than upset. I’ll go see if I can make it all the way through without needing a revive one day.

(A dungeon just called “The Burn” sounds like a crazy good time, but I will refrain from spoiling myself till I get there.)

    Thank you!

In ARR? Outside of the story(agree about keeper and steps) id point you to the Amdapor dungeons(Lost City and Keep hard), and id point you to the Urths Font trial(the Odin fight). The Coils do have amazing story and some great fights, but doing them unsynched with a handful of lvl 80 friends doesnt really lead to the BAMF feeling(the 80s guys are, youre just along for the ride). Doing them at level would achieve that feeling, but those instances are HARD at level and synced.

Amdapor Keep was fun and I’ll be happy to give it a try on Hard. Lost City of Amdapor had an atmosphere that made me feel like I really was the first person to enter in ages... and then that last boss fight happened. Yes to those, and thanks for the recommendations! (Odin makes me nervous, but I will give him a try too.)
