omg we ever designed those should really think of switching jobs. Armor design ingame is good, but weapons, especially the special ones look like shit.
Bring back more normal and functional designs.

Why? So ppl can say: "lol this is bland". I don't see you designing shit, you think ppl are gonna go out of their way for a weapon that looks like a recolor of a weapon they already have? Fuck no. Course they'll have to just because its an upgrade, but they aint gonna be happy about it. I can hear the bitching now: "omfg SE all the weapons look the same, give us something different!". Just sayin. I'm glad SE is willing to be creative and new with every weapon. Fuck normal and functional, if I want that I'll go buy a sword. In fact I have one sitting in my room.
While you're at it you should contemplate the word "fantasy." If you want realism you are in the wrong genre jack. And since when has Final Fantasy been about normal and functional? Methinks you havent played very many of them. What is normal and functional anyway? Like RL weapons? I'm looking at the weapons and they all look functional to me. Swords are sharp and pointy, axes have big scary razor blades, bows got dem strings, claws are sharp and pointy...I mean really now. Whats the complaint? They have elaborate decoration? They should! An ancient weapon found on a mini-god shouldn't look like the shit I buy at Wal-Mart! Have you ever looked at the elaborate shit ancient civilizations produced? Seriously now.
