Enjoying those primal weapon's MP proc on physical attack are you?

I don't have either weapon from Ifrit or moogle. But it's similar to Darklight DoM gear which was stated to be the most powerful obtainable gear, that gear is shit for mage. When I saw the stats on all those items, I was speechless on how terrible it was for it's drop rates.

I heard there is a Red wizard staff in 2.34

Probably crap too.
