Not interested in the looks anymore. If it's stats aren't good like most of the weapons/armor that are deemed "rare and powerful", then looks like this is just gonna be another fight for one win and that's it.

well, thats refreshing to see nice claws here for a change, good stuff.
Bow is wild, lance and mage is nice. Sword and axe are rather bland though.
I'm happy enough with the claws =)

Monk also get good AF Hands, the Tiger Fists, so monk will eventually get back on track from its previous rubbish (tho personally i love the block weapons XD).

TBH i thought those expandable darksteel blocks with oozing magma looked awesome...

You really have to question S.E.'s taste lately.

2.0 might be a huge shock if these weapons are anything to go by. I kinda prefered the art style of the old weapons, they were more subtle. Some of the new ones are great, but for every good one, there is a completely heinous one.

Glad they are doing weps this way every wep in XI looked the same...Oh Sweet i bet save the queen looks awesome oh wait it looks like an Bronze sword /fail

Edit: Best looking sword in xi for a while was gluttony sword but it was lvl 57 and sucked after a while =/

Hmmm I'm pretty sure my Twilight Scythe looks strikingly different from my Redemption. Likewise my Almace looks very different from my Mage Blade, just like my Rhongomiant looks quite different from my Gungnir.

As per your "best looking sword":



Gluttony sword was just a black sword with spikes.
